Meet Delaney Dawn! This lovely lady is a 1.5-year-old, medium-sized Blackmouth Cur mix with beautiful blonde fur. Delaney Dawn had a rough start in life, coming from a situation of severe neglect where she was found with missing fur and skin issues. Thankfully, her foster mom has provided her with love, food, and care, and she's now looking healthy and happy! She's even grown back her fur and is sporting a lovely platinum blonde coat.

Delaney Dawn's heart is full of love to give, and she's a pro at making friends with children and other dogs. However, she's made it clear that cats are a "NO" in her book. She's mostly potty-trained when kept on a regular schedule and is crate-trained, though her absolute favorite place to sleep is snuggled up with her people on the bed. After a yucky past, Delaney Dawn is ready for a yummy, delicious, and very good life because she's a good girl who deserves it.

Ideal Home

Delaney Dawn would thrive in a home with children and other dogs. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Delaney Dawn tested positive for Heartworm disease due to previous neglect. She is currently being treated with medication and is recovering well.

Training & Support

Delaney Dawn is mostly potty-trained when on a regular schedule and is crate-trained. She enjoys sleeping on the people bed. Continued consistency with potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
