Reba

Meet Reba! This sweet, gentle soul has spent her life taking care of others, and now it's finally her turn to be someone's beloved family dog. After a challenging start, Reba was pulled into foster care for a fresh start. It turned out she was not only carrying a little extra weight but was also pregnant and heartworm positive! Despite these challenges, Reba settled into foster care with her calm, sweet nature. She proved to be an exceptional mother to her 8 puppies, attentive, patient, and loving. Once her puppies were weaned, Reba began her heartworm treatment and is now ready to find a family of her own.

Reba is believed to be a 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who is incredibly sweet and adjusts quickly to new environments. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys a securely fenced yard. Reba is a quick learner who enjoys pleasing her people, is crate-trained, and can also be left out in the home with no issues. She eats Purina Dog Chow and does well eating alongside other dogs.

Ideal Home

Reba would love a home where she can spend her days being cherished. She is not recommended for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Reba is heartworm positive and is currently receiving treatment. Her treatment is expected to be complete on 9/3/26. She is fully vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Reba is crate-trained and responds well to the command "Kennel." She can also be left out in the home without issue.
