Kenny is a 2-year-old, 32-pound neutered Staffie and Terrier mix with a sweet, affectionate nature and a playful spirit. He is a social butterfly who enjoys playtime with dogs of all sizes, though he does best when his cherished toys, bones, and treats are managed to prevent possessiveness. Kenny has a history of doing wonderfully with children of all ages and is a cuddly, affectionate companion who loves being part of the family. While he hasn't been cat-tested, he is a gentle soul who warms up quickly after an initial moment of shyness. He's a smart boy who enjoys toys and one-on-one attention, walks beautifully on leash, rides calmly in the car, and navigates stairs with ease. Kenny is crate-trained and can happily spend a few hours in his crate. He doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home but will thrive with an adopter who can provide him with structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love.
Ideal Home
Kenny would thrive in a home that understands his toy-guarding tendencies and is willing to guide him with patience.
Ongoing Health
Kenny is neutered.
Training & Support
Kenny can be a bit possessive of his treasures, so a home that understands this and is willing to work with him using positive reinforcement will set him up for success.
