Auri is a beautiful 4–5-year-old Border Collie mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. She’s been through a lot, having come from a shelter in central Kentucky where she was on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Thankfully, she was given a second chance—and now she’s ready to find her forever home. Auri is learning to trust humans again. She forms a special bond with women and can be a little shy around men at first, but once she knows you, her affection shines through. She’s dog selective, so she would do best in a home where introductions are carefully managed. This sweet girl loves her toys, is fully potty trained, and is incredibly loyal. She thrives with patience, understanding, and consistency, and once she feels safe, she gives her whole heart to those she loves. Auri would do best in a home where introductions to new people, especially men, are carefully managed. She is also dog selective and would do best in a home where introductions to other dogs are carefully managed.
