Spade

Meet Spade! This handsome Lab mix is about a year and a half old and is a big boy, likely weighing close to 80 pounds. Spade is looking for a fresh start after recently losing his home. He's a bit timid right now due to all the recent changes and the shelter environment, but he's been very sweet with the staff. We know his true personality will shine through as he begins to decompress.

Ideal Home

Spade would thrive in a home that can help him get active again with walks, playtime, and perhaps a fenced-in yard.

Ongoing Health

Spade could benefit from losing a few pounds to improve his physical well-being.

Training & Support

Spade is new to us, so we are still learning about his behaviors. He has not been cat tested and while he seems to do okay with other dogs, he has not been fully dog tested. Patience and love will be key as he adjusts to his new environment.
