Hero

Hero is a beautiful, 4-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart of gold. She's incredibly intelligent and high-energy, just as you'd expect from her breed! Hero absolutely loves playing fetch with a frisbee or ball and is already completely house-trained. She's also a social butterfly with other dogs, getting along wonderfully with everyone she meets, from the smallest chihuahua to the biggest breeds. Since coming into our care, Hero has blossomed, gaining confidence and learning to accept affection from new people, a far cry from her initial shyness.

Ideal Home

Hero would thrive in an active home with someone who enjoys hiking and wants a loving, gentle companion. She cannot be kenneled as she's a master escape artist! She can also easily go over a 6-foot fence if she sees her person having fun without her. Due to unknown reactions with cats and small children, she is not recommended for homes with either.

Ongoing Health

Hero is a healthy girl. Her adoption fee includes core vaccines (DA2PPV, Rabies), deworming, health checks, and spay/neuter.

Training & Support

Hero is already house-trained. Her past experiences have made her a bit wary of new people, but she's come a long way in building confidence. With consistent love and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to be a wonderful companion.

Applications to adopt Hero start by contacting us through Wags. The adoption fee is $450, which covers her vaccinations, deworming, health checks, and spay/neuter. All finalized adoptions also include a free 6-week trial of pet insurance with Pet Secure.
