Paloma is looking for a house to call her own where she can truly settle in – no apartments for this girl! She would love a home with a yard where she can practice her happy jumps in peace. She'd be happiest in a space that's a bit more on the quiet side where she can truly be herself. Her only real requirement is a plush couch and a human who doesn't mind a beautiful white shadow following them around.

Paloma has already mastered her "sit" and "down" commands. She is a smart cookie and will do just about anything for a little bit of cheese. When it comes to other pups, Paloma appreciates her personal space and prefers calm, respectful friends. She would be happiest as your one-and-only or paired with a mellow male dog who understands that she likes her by-me time. She is currently practicing her social skills in special playgroups and is making great progress. Regarding feline friends, she's a curious girl with a soft heart! To be totally sure if she's ready for a cat sibling, we'd love for her to have a kitty sleepover. We think she has the potential to be a feline's best friend, but a supervised playdate will give us the final paws up!

Paloma is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
