About Old Style Large German Shepherd Puppies

We have a beautiful female German Shepherd puppy looking for her forever home! This sweet girl is a blend of her parents, Jade and Freyr. Jade is a "true black and silver long hair" German Shepherd, known for her thick build and sweet disposition. Freyr is a "tall, lanky, full of fun and love" German Shepherd, also with long hair, and his coloring is black and tan, leaning towards the red side of tan. We're so excited about the potential of this puppy to grow into an amazing companion!

Meet Stormy Knight German Shepherds. Karrie Wooden is from Wisconsin and breeds German Shepherd Dogs. We are a small selective German Shepherd breeder in Northwest Wisconsin. All of our dogs are family and house pets and our puppies are raised in our home too. I like to say that we breed German Shepherds that even your vet will love. Our goal is to share and show people the calmer, family friendly personality of the Old Style Straight backed shepherds. Our male Thor is 32" and a very fit 145lbs. Tyche is also straight backed from another kennel that is specializing with family friendly personality. . Our youngest stud Freyr is amazing. He is also 32" and is a long haired Black and Red with the nicest disposition. He like Tyche carried the blue gene and our latest litter in 2025 has 4 blue pups. Take a look at our Facebook page and it shows our current puppies and updated pictures of our past pups as well. Mike is retired Air Force and spent time being a K9 handler when he in Security Police division. And I learned to love German Shepherds when I worked at the humane society for 7 years. Together we have brought our plan together to find and breed heathy, level minded, intelligent, family friendly, straight backed German Shepherds.
