Thomas is a 3-year-old Pittie and retriever mix who is sure to steal your heart! He's a playful goofball with a big personality and even bigger ears. Thomas loves people and is incredibly people-focused, always ready with a snuggle or a kiss. He's also fantastic with other dogs, enjoying playful wrestling and games of fetch. Thomas has experience with children aged 3 to 13 and gets along famously with them. He's a well-mannered boy who loves couch time and has no indoor accidents. Thomas is a smart cookie, treat-motivated, and knows commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He's fully crate-trained but would love to sleep in your bed! Thomas enjoys car rides and is a fetch superstar. He's gentle lead trained, making walks a breeze.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can zoom around and enjoy outdoor play. He'd love a semi-active family who enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors, as he's as adventurous as he is snuggly. He would do best in a feline-free home.

Thomas is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Thomas is treat-motivated and highly trainable, knowing several commands. He is crate-trained and enjoys enrichment toys like Kongs. He is gentle lead trained for enjoyable walks.

Thomas is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport system, including to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is available with a surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
