Maddox is a lovely 4-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who has been through a lot. She and her sister Mel lost their homes due to their parents' divorce, and while Mel has found her forever family, Maddox is still waiting for her special person. She's currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is eager to find a place to call her own.
Maddox is a truly wonderful dog who gets along famously with other dogs, cats, and children. She lives harmoniously with a kitty and two young children in her foster home, showing her adaptable and gentle nature. While she enjoys a good game of fetch, Maddox is generally a quiet girl who prefers to relax and spend quality time with her foster family. She's a reserved pup who appreciates her own peaceful space. She is housebroken and crate-trained, and her affectionate personality makes her a perfect companion rather than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs about 60 lbs and is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She loves to sunbathe and snuggle up with her favorite people.
Ideal Home
Maddox would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of love and affection. A home that understands and respects her need for quiet time and personal space will be ideal. A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must, and electric or underground fences are not accepted.
Ongoing Health
Maddox is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped. She is also heartworm negative and currently on Proheart 12.
Training & Support
Maddox is housebroken and crate-trained. She is a well-behaved companion who is better suited as a relaxed housemate than a working dog.

Transporation
Maddox is currently being fostered in Texas, but she is available to travel to any state, and even Canada, to find her perfect home.
