Rocky has officially arrived in Wisconsin after being rescued from a high-intake kill shelter in Georgia. He is now settling in with his foster family and enjoying the safety, love, and care he deserves while he waits for his forever home. This happy pup has left his past behind and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Now all he needs is a family to say "yes" and give him the loving home he's been waiting for. Meet Rocky, a happy-go-lucky Lab mix (best guess) with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome 7-month-old was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, but it's clear he once had a family; he already knows his name and happily comes when he's called. Rocky has quickly become a shelter favorite thanks to his cheerful personality and friendly nature. He always seems to be smiling, loves meeting new people, and approaches life with a fun-loving attitude that is contagious. He thrives in dog playgroups and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him an excellent candidate for a home with a canine companion. Rocky loves to play, explore, and spend time with his people. At just 7 months old, he's still learning the ropes and will benefit from continued training, but he's eager to please and ready to become an amazing family dog.
