The Pond Princess, Backyard Olympian, and Certified Free Spirit – that's our Mochi! When she first arrived, Mochi was one of over 40 dogs in a less-than-predictable environment. Even then, she was sweet, social, and thoughtful. Now, she's thriving! Mochi loves water and can be found swimming in any available pool, pond, or even a puddle. She has a unique hopping, bouncing run that's pure joy to watch. Mochi has an independent spirit, content to explore or relax on her own, but once she trusts you, she's incredibly loyal and affectionate, offering sweet kisses and quiet devotion. Inside, she's a calm shadow, happy to be wherever you are, requiring no constant entertainment. She has a wonderful, balanced energy, enjoying adventures outside and being a peaceful presence indoors. Mochi is exceptionally well-socialized with other dogs, understanding cues and knowing how to interact respectfully.
Ideal Home
We'd love to see Mochi in a home with another dog to share life's adventures and quiet moments. Someone who enjoys the outdoors would be perfect for Mochi, whether it's a house with a yard, a lake house, a cabin, or simply a hiking buddy. She's looking for a co-star to join her in exploring, swimming, and enjoying the simple pleasure of being together. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned in Mochi's description.
Training & Support
Mochi is described as being easy to live with. While she can be a little shy with new people, she's not fearful, just thoughtful. Her calm and independent nature makes her a joy indoors. Her excellent social skills with other dogs mean she's respectful and knows how to read social cues.
