BENJI

Benji is a handsome young dog with a calm, gentle nature and plenty of good years ahead of him. At around 2 to 3 years old, he's reached that wonderful stage where he's still young enough for adventures but mature enough to appreciate simply spending time with his people. Throughout his care, he's been patient and cooperative, taking everything in stride and showing just how easy he is to be around. Benji has the kind of steady personality that makes him an easy dog to picture fitting right into family life. He handled all of his veterinary care without fuss and is ready to begin a new chapter with a family of his own. Benji appears to be recovering well after arriving overheated and has some minor eye irritation, overgrown nails, and dental tartar that will benefit from routine care. What stands out most, though, is his sweet disposition and willingness to trust the people helping him. Benji is ready to leave the uncertainty of shelter life behind and become the loyal companion he's meant to be.
