Polo is a handsome 5-year-old Bully breed husky blend with a friendly, laid-back personality and a medium energy level—just the right balance of play and relaxation. This smart boy is both house trained and crate trained, making him a breeze to welcome into your home. Polo has been around older kids and enjoys spending time with his people, whether it’s going for a nice walk, hanging out in the yard, or joining doggy playgroups. He may need a little extra time to warm up to men, but with patience and kindness, he’ll show his sweet, affectionate side. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready for both adventures and lazy afternoons, Polo might just be your perfect match! Polo is dog friendly and enjoys off leash doggy playgroups. While on an overnight outing, he met a couple dog-friendly cats and did well while being supervised. Shelter staff feel he could possibly live with dog-friendly kitties but supervision and more exposure are needed to confirm. He did get to go to a PJ party where he did well with children - shelter staff and volunteers feel he could live in a home with respectful children 8+ y/o. It’s hard to believe Polo has been in the shelter for over a year with his charming personality. Let’s change that!

A home with respectful children 8+ years old. Polo has done well with male staff and volunteers, but he may take a little while to warm up to men. Polo is dog friendly and enjoys doggy playgroups. He has shown potential to live with dog-friendly cats with supervision and further exposure.

Ongoing Health

Polo is vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

A round of positive reinforcement training classes to brush up on his basic commands would be beneficial for Polo.
