Alfie

Hi, I'm Alfie! I'm a 10-year-old, 17-pound little gentleman looking for my forever family! My foster says I'm one of the easiest dogs they've ever had, and honestly... I think they might be right. I love everybody... I mean it... dogs, cats, and people! I've done great in a busy house with 6 other dogs, and I even enjoy playing with pups my size. I am mostly blind, but don't let that fool you, I get around really well! I can see light and shadows, and my hearing is excellent. I know exactly where the back door is when I need to potty, and I'll bark to let you know when I want back inside too. I haven't had any accidents in the house and I don't mark either! After almost 3 months in foster care, my foster says I've been nothing but sweet, loving, and well-behaved. I may not see perfectly, but I sure know how to love perfectly!

Ideal Home

Alfie loves everybody, including dogs, cats, and people. He has done well in a busy household with other dogs and enjoys playing with dogs his own size. He also enjoys car rides, errands, cozy beds, sitting beside his humans, and curling up in laps.

Ongoing Health

Alfie is mostly blind but gets around well, seeing light and shadows. His hearing is excellent.

Training & Support

Alfie is mostly potty-trained and knows to go to the back door when he needs to potty, and he barks to come inside. He does not mark. He does like to "chat," especially around dinner time, and believes he deserves a treat if you're in the kitchen. He waits patiently on his rug for his dinner.
