Joy

We all need a little Joy in our lives! Meet Joy, a sweet and loving girl who was unfortunately abandoned by her previous humans. Despite her past, Joy maintains a joyous outlook on life and is eager to find her forever family. She is obedient, friendly, gentle, patient, and affectionate, making her everything you could want in a canine companion. Joy walks beautifully on a leash, loves people, is great with kids, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. She's just waiting for someone to choose her!

Joy was born around December 6, 2020, and weighs 51 pounds of pure love. She tested very faint for heartworm and is currently undergoing treatment with the slow kill method, which will be fully funded by Wags until she tests negative, even after adoption. Otherwise, Joy is healthy, up to date on her vaccines, and already spayed.

Ideal Home

Joy would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of love and companionship. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Joy is being treated for faint heartworm positive through the slow kill method, with Wags continuing to fund her treatment until she tests negative.

Training & Support

Joy walks beautifully on a leash and is generally well-behaved. Her loving nature and desire to please will make training a rewarding experience.
