Doris came to us from La Misión after kind people in a plaza noticed she needed help. She had TVT and no access to treatment, so we brought her into our care — and this sweet girl has now completed her chemotherapy and is doing absolutely fantastic. 🐶 One of the most loving, affectionate dogs we’ve met 🐶 Great with people & other dogs 🐶 Spayed before arriving and now fully treated 🐶 Soft, gentle, and so grateful for kindness

Doris has been through so much, yet she radiates love. She’s ready for a safe, happy life with a family who will cherish her. ✨ This beautiful girl is ready for her forever home.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

⚠️ It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️
