Kai is a beautiful girl with a heart as big as her ears! She's a 50 lb Black Mouth Cur x Shepherd mix with an estimated birthday of 11/20/24. Kai loves to run, play, and chase balls. She would thrive with an active family who loves to go for lots of adventures. If you love long walks on the beach, hikes, or car rides, Kai is your girl! Kai was rescued as a stray after being dumped by her owners in Houston, Tx. She has been through a lot, but now she’s ready to find her forever person. Kai has all the puppy energy and lots of love to go around. She would likely do well in a home with another dog that matches her energy level or as an only fur-child. She has met kids between 7-10 years old and loved playing fetch with them. She is a truly sweet and beautiful soul, incredibly intelligent, athletic, and loving.

Transporation
Kai is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may pick up in nearby towns, counties, or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
