Max

Max is a wonderful, loving dog with so much potential, but he's looking for a special kind of home. He's a project for someone with a kind heart and a lot of patience. Max was a very sheltered dog and has never been abused. He's well-trained with a doggie door and is very comfortable in his kennel, which he sees as his safe space. He can take some time to warm up to new people and is easily frightened by loud noises and unfamiliar faces. However, once he gets to know you, he becomes incredibly faithful and loving, showing off his great personality. He gets along well with other dogs and has experience with cats. Max would thrive in a quiet home environment.

Ongoing Health

Max takes anti-anxiety medication daily to help him feel more comfortable. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.

Training & Support

Max needs to learn how to walk on a leash, as he was never introduced to one. Patience and understanding will be key to helping him adjust.
