Ambar is a beautiful medium-large adult dog with a stunning amber coat who adores humans. She is more of a homebody who enjoys leisurely walks and an easier lifestyle. She is playful and enjoys watching the world go by from her foster's patio. Ambar is currently fostered with her friend Pip, and while they are a great pair, they can be adopted separately. She cohabitates well with senior dogs of various sizes, but she is primarily a people-dog and not overly interested in making new canine friends. She is not aggressive towards other dogs but prefers to keep to herself unless another dog is overly persistent. Ambar would do best in a home that doesn't already have dogs, or with Pip as a companion (their second adoption fee would be waived). She is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys car rides. Ambar has not been cat-tested, but this can be arranged upon request.
Ideal Home
Ambar would thrive in a home that enjoys her company as a true companion, going on normal walks, and occasional fun outings like hikes. She is not suited for dog parks or dog beaches, and would be best matched with someone who doesn't have other dogs at home, or is interested in adopting Pip as well.
