Coco

Coco is an 8-year-old, large, female Pit Bull Terrier mix with an amazing personality that has made her a staff favorite. She came to us as a surrender and immediately captured our hearts with her infectious smile. We affectionately call her Coco Chanel, Coco Melon, Coco Puffs, and Coco Butt! She is energetic and absolutely adores belly rubs, making sure you know it! Coco loves to sunbathe in our outdoor pen but isn't a fan of returning to the loud shelter at night. She is gentle and playful with toys, making her a wonderful companion for a family with children.

Ideal Home

Coco would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of sunshine and be the only pet.

Ongoing Health

Coco came to us with some mast cell tumors, most of which have been surgically removed. She still has a few small ones that we are monitoring. She is otherwise healthy and energetic. Coco would be considered a foster-to-adopt, as she may require a few more small tumor removals in the future.

Training & Support

Coco is not house-trained. She would do best in a home with children, as she is gentle and playful with toys.
