Hi there! I'm Shelby, a Coonhound mix with a lot to say – I love to keep my humans updated on all the important things, especially when it's time to play fetch! Tossing a ball is my absolute favorite, and I'm told I'm a super friendly pup who loves meeting new people. If snacks are involved, I'm an even quicker learner and a great student because I'm very food-motivated! If you're looking for a fun, loving, fetch-loving best friend who will happily chat about his day, I'm your guy!

Ideal Home

I love everyone, including children! While I get a little excited when I first see other dogs, I can learn to greet them calmly with a proper introduction. I do have a strong prey drive and will chase cats, so a home without them would be best. I do need some help learning to walk nicely on a leash. My ideal home would have a fenced-in yard and someone who can be home with me most of the day. Someone with experience with hounds would be great, but it's not a dealbreaker!

I am neutered and vaccinated. My estimated birthday is December 14, 2020.

I'm a quick learner and very food-motivated, which will be a great asset as we work on leash walking together!
