Hagrid

Meet Hagrid! This adorable Shih Tzu/Terrier mix was born in September 2022 and weighs just 9 pounds. With his scruffy good looks and gentle heart, he's impossible not to fall in love with. Hagrid absolutely LOVES kids – they are his favorite people, and he lights up when they're around! He loves playing with toys, romping around with his sister, Bellatrix, and joining in on family fun.

Hagrid is looking for a very special forever home with his beloved sister, Bellatrix. The two have been together since the day they were born and share an incredible bond. They play together, comfort each other, and truly rely on one another. Because of their close relationship, they will only be adopted as a pair. While children win him over almost instantly, Hagrid is a bit more reserved with adults. New grown-ups should expect to take things slowly, allowing Hagrid to approach at his own pace and earn their trust. Once he knows you're safe, his sweet, loyal personality shines through.

Ideal Home

Hagrid and Bellatrix would do best in a home with children. They are happiest when they are together.

Ongoing Health

Both Hagrid and Bellatrix will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

Hagrid can be a little reserved with new adults and may need time to warm up to them.
