Meet Luka — a big, lovable cuddle enthusiast with an even bigger heart! Luka is a medium-energy guy who enjoys daily walks and playing with other dogs, but his absolute favorite activity is snuggling up with his person. When you're home, he'll happily let you know if he wants attention or needs to go outside. Once his needs are met, he settles nicely in his crate or playpen and does very well in an apartment setting. Luka loves being the center of attention—especially if belly rubs are involved! He is extremely food-motivated—he'll do just about anything for his favorite beef griller treats! Most of all, Luka is a loyal companion who just wants to be close to his person, soaking up love and giving endless snuggles in return.
Ideal Home
Luka would thrive as an only dog, happily soaking up all of his human's attention. He has done well with female dogs around his size and with smaller, laid-back dogs. He can be selective with his dog friends, but once he finds a good match, he truly enjoys playing and spending time with them. Luka is good with kids but should be supervised, as he can be energetic and play a bit rough at times.

Training & Support
Guidance and supervision are important during play as Luka may grab hands or arms and nip, but this is not aggressive behavior—he simply gets excited and wants to engage. He responds well to redirection and settles when guided, so his adopter should feel comfortable recognizing when he's becoming overstimulated and helping him calm down before play escalates. Luka is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He walks beautifully on leash and does not appear to be reactive when passing other dogs, though he does enjoy chasing squirrels.
