Meet Bently!
This handsome six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is a gentle soul with a striking white coat and golden patches. Bently is about 55 pounds and carries himself with a sweet confidence. He's a devoted companion who knows how to balance playful energy with a desire for affection. Bently absolutely adores children and will happily play with grandkids, enjoying games of tug with his favorite rope. He thrives on attention and love, leaning in for cuddles to show just how affectionate he is.
Ideal Home
Bently would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of companionship and structure. He is patient and kind with new environments and people, and would do best with adopters who can offer him a quiet, gentle introduction to his new surroundings.
Ongoing Health
Bently's vaccinations are up to date. He will be required to be neutered prior to placement in his new home.
Training & Support
Bently knows "sit" and "come here." While he hasn't attended formal training classes, he would do wonderfully with positive reinforcement and new learning opportunities. He enjoys walks and exploring the world through his nose. Bently was house-trained in the past, but after some time living outdoors, it's unknown if he remembers his indoor routines. With consistency and encouragement, he can likely relearn these habits. He is neutral towards other dogs and would need slow, thoughtful introductions to canine companions. He tends to keep his distance from cats.
