Chicken

Chicken is a handsome adult Doberman Pinscher mix who came to us from a rural animal shelter. He's a sensitive soul who has made amazing progress since arriving. Chicken was quite shy at first, but with patience and gentle guidance, he's become much more confident. He now walks calmly on the leash and truly enjoys receiving affection. He's still a bit insecure, but we know with the right family, he'll blossom into an incredible companion. Chicken has been doing well with other male and female dogs, and he'd love to have a gentle canine friend or two to share his home with.

Ideal Home

Chicken needs a patient and understanding adopter who can continue to build his confidence. He would do best in a home without cats, as he has shown he is not a good fit with them. We also do not believe he would be a good fit for a home with children. Chicken will need a home with a yard or even a ranch where he has plenty of space to explore and play. He can become destructive if left alone inside for too long.

Chicken is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chicken has improved significantly with leash walking and enjoys affection. As he is still gaining confidence, continued patience and positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
