Muppet might just be the loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and full-time best friend you've been searching for! This handsome, approximately 1-year-old, 60-pound pup, with his striking black and brown coat, is bursting with personality, affection, and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Whether Muppet is an Australian Kelpie or Doberman mix, one thing is for sure: he's a curious character who wants to be involved in everything you do. From vacuuming to yard work, or just relaxing, Muppet desires to be right by your side, spending every moment with his favorite people. He's a goofy boy at heart, still very much a puppy who loves to give kisses and thinks he's a lap dog, despite his size.
Ideal Home
Muppet would thrive in an active home with a family committed to continuing his training, as he can get excited and jump up for attention. He'd do best with a family that can provide regular walks, hikes, playtime, and mental enrichment. He would also enjoy having a playful canine companion, ideally one close to his size. Muppet currently lives successfully with a cat and does well with dog-savvy felines.
Ongoing Health
No specific ongoing health concerns were mentioned.
Training & Support
Muppet is still learning his manners and can jump up and use his paws to say hello when excited. He is mostly house-trained and continues to improve. He walks nicely on leash once his initial excitement wears off, has no food aggression, and willingly goes into his crate. Like many young dogs, he can be mischievous if left unattended and has a tendency to chew things he shouldn't, so supervision and appropriate chew toys are important.
