Ideal Home
Walter is looking for a feline-free sanctuary where he can focus all his love and attention on his humans and canine pals. He would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who enjoys playtime but also appreciates a good afternoon nap. He is happy in both a large backyard or a cozy city apartment, as he is a pro on leash and doesn't require a massive yard.
Ongoing Health
Walter is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworms.
Training & Support
Walter is already crate trained and potty trained, making his transition into your home a breeze. He is a perfect gentleman in his crate and a dream in the car. He is also dog social and excellent at reading other dogs' body language, knowing when to politely ask for space.

Transporation
Walter is currently located in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time.
