I’m Mervin, and I'm a gentle soul who's learning that the world isn't as scary as I once thought. Every day I get a little braver and that much happier, especially when I have a confident dog friend by my side. Having another dog in the home isn’t just a bonus for me, it’s a must. I learn best by watching and following a furry role model, and my dog siblings have been the best thing ever. I'm a big fan of older kids, especially those who don’t mind sharing their bed. Speaking of beds… the more, the better! Dog beds in every room are strongly preferred, and blankets are essential for maximum cuddling. Fair warning: if a dog sibling beats me to my favorite bed, I may try to reclaim it by sitting on them. I've discovered that snow days can actually be pretty fun, and I'm always up for a pup cup. Cats are totally unbothered by my existence; they do their thing, I do mine. I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring out that good things—like soft blankets, kind humans, and loyal dog friends—are what life is really about. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who just needs a little reassurance and a lot of cozy spots, I might be your guy.
Ideal Home
I need a home with another confident dog to show me the ropes and a secure, fenced yard so I can explore and relax safely. I also love older kids who don't mind sharing their bed and a lot of dog beds and blankets for ultimate coziness.
