Kim

Kim is a handsome 1-year-old Border Collie/Labrador mix who weighs around 32 lbs. He's a bundle of playful energy, sweet, loving, and brings a joyful spirit to his foster home. Kim is a smart boy who will blossom with training and clear guidance. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is also friendly with cats. He's already leash trained, crate trained, and a good traveler in the car! Kim was found abandoned at the shelter's door and, sadly, tested positive for parvo. He received excellent veterinary care and has made a full recovery!

Ideal Home

Kim would thrive in an active home with a family that enjoys outdoor activities and can provide him with a fenced backyard. He needs a family with patience and understanding, especially as he adjusts and learns to trust new people.

Ongoing Health

Kim has made a full recovery from parvo. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. He is microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. He receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are provided.

Training & Support

Kim is not fully house-trained and will need continued patience and consistency in this area. His adopters should have experience with dog behavior and training, and be prepared to offer high tolerance and patience for a rescued pup.

Transporation

Kim is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country transport trip. Transport to your home address is available.
