Lola was once a Mexican street dog, wandering alone until a kind woman took her in and helped her find safety. Now she’s settling into rescue life and showing us what a loving, happy girl she truly is. 🐶 Sweet with fun puppy energy 🐶 Working on leash & house training 🐶 Great with older kids & dogs 🐶 Not a fan of cats 🐶 Ready for a family who will love her for life

Lola is with a small rescue in Bucerias. They are not on Petfinder so we try to help them by adding their dogs. Please reach out if you're interested in Lola and we will pass your application on to them.

We’ll review your application and may contact you for more info or a home check.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

⚠️ It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️
