Buddy

Meet Buddy! I'm a 3-year-old heeler mix who's been patiently waiting for my forever family for over two years. I'm described as an "easy work in progress" and I promise I'm a total catch! While I'm not as high-energy as some heelers, I do enjoy my walks, playtime, and exploring the world through my nose. I'm already potty trained and crate trained, and I understand how to use a leash, though I'm still learning not to pull when I get excited. My recall is excellent, and I'm eager to please! A gentle verbal correction is all I need when I make a mistake, as I'm a quick learner with a big heart. I get along well with other dogs and can live with cats, though supervision might be needed if they run, given my herding instincts. I'm the perfect dog for adventures, whether it's riding in the truck, hitting the trails, or just cuddling on the couch. I'm ready to bring more fun into your life!

Ideal Home

I'd love a home that appreciates my adventurous spirit and my desire for connection. While I'm good with cats, a little supervision might be needed if they tend to run.

Ongoing Health

I'm fixed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines.

Training & Support

I'm potty trained and crate trained. I know how to walk on a leash but still need a little practice with not pulling. I have excellent recall and respond well to positive reinforcement and light verbal corrections.
