About Flynn! Playful, docile and happy boy!
Meet handsome Flynn! Hi, I’m Flynn… and I’m already in Massachusetts, just waiting to meet my person and ready for Meets and Greets! I’m a 2-year-old, 45 lb red and tan husky mix with a gentle heart and an easygoing nature. I’ve been told I’m not quite your typical husky… and honestly, I think that’s one of my best qualities. I’m a sweet, friendly, affectionate, curious, playful, and smart boy who enjoys being around people. I love attention (especially belly rubs) and I’m happiest when I can be near my humans, just sharing space and being part of your day. I’m also a very respectful companion. I get along well with other dogs and I’m not pushy or in their faces—I know how to be social without being overwhelming. I’m good with kids, dogs, and even cats, although I’ll admit… cats make me a little nervous, so you won’t see any prey-drive behavior from me. At home, I make things easy. I’m fully house trained, comfortable in my crate, and I stay quiet while my foster is at work. I’m also not destructive with my beds or toys, and I actually enjoy car rides, which makes getting out and about pretty fun. My story started in Texas, where I was surrendered through no fault of my own when my previous family had to move unexpectedly. Since then, I’ve shown that I’m adaptable, well-socialized, and ready to settle into a home where I can truly belong. I’m crate trained, house trained, and up to date on all my vaccinations, so I’m ready to transition smoothly into the right home. I was rescued in Texas, and now I’m looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the northern states—a place where I can get comfortable, build a routine, and start my next chapter. What that means is that my future family gets 2–3 weeks to bring me home, get to know me, and see how I fit into everyday life before making a final decision. There’s no pressure—just real time together to make sure it feels right. If for any reason it turns out I’m not the perfect match, my rescue will find me another foster-to-adopt home up north as soon as possible, so I can keep moving toward the home that’s meant for me. I am being fostered in Springfield MA and ready for meet and greets! If you’d like to learn more about me or take the next step, please visit www.rociosrescues.org. I may not be the husky everyone expects—but for the right person, I might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
