Meet Gucci! This handsome black Lab mix is a resilient spirit with a heart as big as Texas. He had a tough start, being abandoned and then making his way to us for rehabilitation and a second chance at life. Gucci is a "work in progress" in the best way possible, ready to embark on his next adventure with a loving family. He’s a young pup at heart, brimming with classic Lab energy and an eagerness to please that makes training a fun and rewarding experience, especially with toys and treats!
Ideal Home
Gucci would thrive with an active individual, couple, or family who enjoys games of fetch and is prepared to guide a smart, loving dog through his energetic phase. He’s ready to settle down and offer a lifetime of companionship.
Ongoing Health
Gucci has received comprehensive vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, as well as spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping.
Training & Support
As a young pup, Gucci is a work in progress and would benefit from a family committed to teaching him basic manners and continued training. His eagerness to please and motivation by treats and toys will make training a joy. He’s well-socialized through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and leash training and basic commands are part of his routine. He’ll need continued training efforts and understanding from his forever family.

Transportation
Gucci is currently in Texas. Transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH, LA. AZ transport is coming soon. Pickup locations and times are predetermined. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. Texas adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for transporting within the state. Animals are transported in air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey through a private Facebook Event page. Your Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pickup location. For those picking up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee.
