Liesel

Liesel is a beautiful 1-year-old who was found as a stray in Philly and brought to the city shelter. She loves everyone she meets and is very affectionate, with a particular fondness for playing tug and using her nose on walks. Her absolute favorite toy is her Jolly ball. Liesel is a true sweetheart who charms everyone she meets and is very expressive with her body language. She is a pleaser who excelled in her board and train program, progressing through pack walks and 'social hour' with other dogs. While she showed no aggression, she did become over-aroused and excited when initially introduced to other dogs, so professional guidance was sought to help her learn proper dog socialization.

Ideal Home

Liesel would do best in a home with children 10 years of age or older. She has not been cat tested.

Ongoing Health

Liesel is a healthy girl who has completed a comprehensive board and train program.

Training & Support

Liesel has completed a board and train program where she learned foundational skills and how to socialize appropriately with other dogs. Her approved adopter will need to participate in a couple of sessions with her trainer to ensure consistency with cues and techniques.
