About Andy

Meet Andy: Your Dog’s New Best Friend (and Yours Too!)

Andy is a charming 2-year-old Retriever mix, weighing in at a perfect 50-55 lbs. His story began in Texas, where he and his siblings were sadly abandoned. Thankfully, they were rescued and brought to safety. With stability, kindness, and care, Andy has blossomed into a wonderfully affectionate dog, eager to start his next chapter with a loving family. He's not just a dog; he's a furry embodiment of joy, ready to bring his gentle spirit into your home.

Ideal Home

Andy absolutely thrives around other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine companion to pal around with. He's a gentleman at home, house trained, and crate trained. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people initially, give him a moment, and his soft, affectionate personality will shine through. He loves routine, companionship, and being part of the family's activities, from walks to relaxing nearby. His ideal home is a calm, loving environment where he can continue to blossom, with people who appreciate a loyal, kindhearted companion. His biggest requirement is love, consistency, and a canine buddy. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit.
