KING

King is a 6-8 year old, 55 lb lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him stand out! He's a solid "10" on a scale of 1-10 for energy, always ready for adventure and play. Despite his zest for life, King is also sweet, quiet, and gentle. He's a well-rounded boy, friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and generally self-sufficient without being demanding. King is a smart cookie with good common sense, readily taking direction, and he's not a big barker, though he will alert you to anything unusual. He enjoys his meals and treats but doesn't have a high food or prey drive. When he's not being active, King is happy to relax and chill.

King would thrive in an active home with a family committed to providing him with an active and healthy lifestyle. He would love a yard to play in.

Ongoing Health

King was found injured after being hit by a car, and while he has physical scars, they do not impact his ability to live a full life. He is fully functioning and nothing holds him back.

Training & Support

King is crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He doesn't show signs of storm or separation anxiety. He is generally well-behaved, but has been known to chew plastic water bowls, so metal bowls are recommended.
