Meet Ike! He's a goofy, lovable Labrador Retriever mix whose favorite thing in the world is being with people. Ike has never met a stranger and believes everyone is a potential best friend! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of classic Lab enthusiasm and would love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is, but his affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. Ike's promise: "I might not fit in your lap, but I'm going to try anyway and I'll make you smile every day." Ongoing Health
Ike is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also been tested for heartworm and is on prevention. He has been neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is. His affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Transporation
Ike is located at our Angleton, TX location. He is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. We offer private custom transport routes and destinations upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting.
