Lluvia is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix with a happy, energetic personality. She’s a social butterfly, friendly with other dogs, men, women, and even strangers, approaching new people with curiosity and confidence. Lluvia absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite toys. She enjoys a good chew session and is easily entertained by bright, fun dog balls. She also adores affection and happily soaks up all the pets and cuddles you can give! While she might approach new situations with a bit of initial caution, she is never aggressive and is a gentle, playful companion looking for a loving, active family to share her life with.
Ideal Home
Lluvia would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. A securely fenced backyard is a must for her to safely explore and play. She also needs a family with patience and a deep understanding of rescue animals, as she is not yet house-trained and will require ongoing education and guidance.
Ongoing Health
Lluvia has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her DHPPI and Rabies vaccines. She has also received Bordetella and has been dewormed. She tested negative for heartworm and has had a 4DX test. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Lluvia is not house-trained and will require significant patience and consistency from her new family to learn this skill. Experience in dog behavior and training is highly recommended, or a commitment to hiring a professional trainer to help her reach her full potential.

- Photos and videos of your home are required to ensure a safe environment for your future pet.
- If it’s a potential match, we will arrange a video call to introduce you to the pet and conduct a virtual home tour.
- 1-2 references will be contacted.
- Upon approval, an adoption contract will be signed, and the adoption fee will be collected to cover all veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transporation
Lluvia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. She is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport company organizes scheduled trips 3-4 times a year, collecting adopted pets from Mexico and escorting them across the border into Texas. You will receive real-time updates throughout the journey in a private Facebook Messenger group.
