Meet Artie!

This 5-year-old Chihuahua, weighing in at just 4.5 pounds, is a professional lap warmer! Artie is happiest when he's snuggled up in your lap, tucked under a blanket, or following you around the house. If you're searching for a devoted little shadow with a heart full of love, Artie is ready to fill that role. He has an incredibly sweet personality and an abundance of affection to share. While he can coexist with other dogs, Artie's true joy comes from human companionship. He was found abandoned and deserves a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Artie would do well in many homes. If you have children, he would likely be a great fit with older, respectful kids who know how to handle a tiny dog. Due to his small size, he is not suited for homes with very young children who might accidentally be too rough with him.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are seen by a licensed veterinarian, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations before transport.

Transporation

Artie is currently in South Mississippi. We welcome adopters from both local and out-of-town areas. For out-of-town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. The adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing, with transports occurring every 2-3 weeks. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
