Toby

Toby is a 4-year-old Cane Corso mix with a heart full of love, though he needs an experienced owner who understands his breed and needs. He weighs about 70 lbs and was surrendered with his brother, Rocky, in August 2022 after they were found roaming and causing mischief. Due to the pandemic, socialization was limited, and they arrived with no manners or training. Toby enjoys long walks and is strong on the leash. He knows simple commands and is sweet with the staff. He also loves car rides and lounging in the sunshine while "chatting" with his brother.

Ideal Home

Toby needs an experienced owner familiar with the Cane Corso breed. He requires an adult-only household (18 and over) and is not suitable for homes with children. A low-activity household is best, as Cane Corsos are known for their protective nature. Toby will need multiple meetings to feel comfortable with new people, including anyone in the household.
