Meet Idgie, a stunning 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who weighs around 62 pounds. She's already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and all caught up on her care, making her ready to waltz right into her forever home! Idgie has a captivating presence, with soulful eyes and a quiet demeanor that’s sure to win you over. She's a loyal, affectionate girl who is incredibly loving once she feels secure, and she's ready to form a deep bond with her new family.
Ideal Home
Idgie is a dream come true for many families! She does wonderfully with other dogs her size and truly enjoys having a canine companion. People are her absolute favorite, and she’s also cat-friendly. She’s been around children of various ages and has always remained calm and gentle, making her a great fit for a family environment. To keep this clever escape artist safe, a yard with at least 6-foot fencing is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Idgie is in great health and up-to-date on all her medical needs.
Training & Support
Idgie is a well-mannered girl who is fully housebroken and crate trained. She can comfortably stay in her crate for up to nine hours and sleeps soundly through the night. She has shown some resource guarding around her meals, so she is fed separately from other pets. However, this doesn't extend to treats, toys, or bones, so with simple management at mealtime, she continues to thrive. While Idgie enjoys playtime and can get the occasional burst of zoomies, she’s not high-energy all day long and equally loves long naps and cuddling.
