She's a loyal girl who gives her whole heart once she trusts you, offering melt-your-heart cuddles and her signature "Mabel lean" for hugs. She's a calm and affectionate companion who is happiest simply being near you.
Ideal Home
Mabel would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can relax and enjoy life. She enjoys the company of other well-mannered dogs and could also share her home with a confident cat, given a slow introduction and supervision. She's a low-energy girl who prefers a relaxed lifestyle over strenuous activity. An apartment is not suitable for Mabel; she needs a home where she can enjoy her surroundings without excessive leashed interactions.
Ongoing Health
Mabel is a healthy girl who has received all age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, rabies, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Mabel is gentle, easy to correct, and loves routine. She can become unsure of other dogs while on leash, so her new family will need to be mindful of this during her transition.

Transporation
Mabel is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Pick-up points for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
