Shelly

Shelly is a spayed, 1-year-old female Staffie mix, weighing around 60lbs. She's a ball of energy looking for an adventure buddy and a human to shower with love! Shelly would make a great hiking or running partner, and once she's had her exercise, she's all about snuggles and belly rubs. She hasn't met any children, but given her excitement level with people, older, dog-savvy kids would be best. Shelly lived with two male Mastiffs and did well, but she can be selective with female dogs, so we recommend she be your one and only pet. We don't have any information about her compatibility with cats.

Ideal Home

Shelly would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children and as the only pet.

Shelly is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shelly is working on her basic manners but is a quick learner! She already knows "sit" and "paw" and is house-trained, letting you know when she needs to go out by tapping the door with her paw. She also does well in her kennel.

Transportation

Shelly is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved.
