Duke

Duke is a handsome, 58-pound adult Blue Tick Hound who is super friendly! He embodies all the endearing hound traits: kind, athletic, vocal, and a bit silly. Duke is all about exploring and will go in search of fun, thanks to his great nose! He's a dog who can and will climb over a 5-foot fence (maybe higher!), so a large, securely fenced area to run is a must. While he can be strong on the leash, he is still a pleasure to walk. We believe he has only been a pet and not a hunting dog. All being said, Duke is a great dog for the right person and home.

Ideal Home

Duke needs a large, securely fenced area to run. He would not do well in a town setting due to being too vocal. He would probably not do well with smaller pets due to his breeding.

Ongoing Health

Duke is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Duke has a great nose and will search for goodies left out. He is strong on the leash but can be walked.
