MARCELA

Marcela is a 1-year-old, 50 lb German Shepherd mix with a spirit that is nothing short of amazing. Her story is one that truly breaks your heart and then puts it back together again. She was left behind after her owner passed away and found herself abandoned, alone, hungry, and confused. Picked up by animal control, she spent a month in an overwhelming shelter and was even placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, we saw her potential and couldn't let her story end there. Today, Marcela is safe and is a sweet, resilient, and incredibly loving companion. Despite all she has been through, Marcela's spirit remains gentle and kind. She is affectionate, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with her person. Marcela possesses the classic shepherd intelligence; she is attentive, eager to learn, and very in tune with her humans. She doesn't carry bitterness, only hope, and truly deserves stability, warmth, and a family who will cherish her forever.
