Olley is a precious senior beagle mix, estimated to be around 10 years old, with a surprising amount of spunk! Weighing in at 34 pounds, Olley's greatest love is food, and he's not picky about it at all. This low-maintenance gentleman is as easy-going as they come, content to spend his days napping in a cozy bed. His foster family cherishes his generous snuggles and happy-go-lucky demeanor. Olley enjoys spending time in the yard, taking leisurely strolls, and enthusiastically sniffing everything in his path. It seems Olley's past may not have included many toys, as his fosters had the joy of watching him discover them! Once he learned their purpose, he was hooked and now enjoys playing with them and chewing on a good bone. Above all, Olley thrives on love and treats, his tail wagging and him running to greet his favorite people for pets. This senior pup is ready to share his love and spread his joy.
Ideal Home
Olley does well with other dogs, generally keeping to himself. He walks well on a leash and is comfortable in a crate. His only noted behavioral quirk is a mild protectiveness over his food. To ensure a harmonious environment, he should be fed in a separate area if other dogs are present.
Ongoing Health
Olley is up-to-date on all his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is currently being treated for heartworm via the slow-kill method, and his new adopter will be provided with all necessary medication to complete the treatment cycle.
