Meet Raven, a beautiful Lab/Chow mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give. At just 2 years old and 48 pounds, Raven has already been through more than most dogs ever should, and yet she has remained loving, friendly, and full of hope! Raven and her litter of puppies ended up at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. One by one, all of her puppies were adopted, and Raven was left behind waiting for her own family to find her. During her time at the shelter, she quickly became a favorite because she was such a devoted mom and so friendly with everyone she met. When her time at the shelter ran out, our rescue stepped in and saved this very special girl.

Now safe in foster care in Newton, MA, Raven is getting the second chance she deserves and is available for a meet and greet. She is a very friendly dog who truly loves being around people and soaking up affection and attention. Raven enjoys going for walks, is house trained, and is wonderful company to have by your side. She is also good with other dogs and enjoys simple pleasures like chewing on an antler or playing with a toy. Raven is not only sweet, she is absolutely gorgeous. She has a beautiful coat and a fluffy tail that curls up over her back, giving her such a unique and lovely look. But as beautiful as she is on the outside, it is her loyal, joyful spirit that really makes her shine. She is the kind of dog who will make you smile every day and be ready for whatever new adventures life brings. After giving so much love to her puppies, Raven is more than ready to be someone's cherished girl. She is waiting for her happily ever after and she just might be waiting for you!

Ideal Home

Raven thrives in a home where she can receive plenty of affection and attention. She enjoys going for walks and is wonderful company. She is good with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Raven is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She will see a vet for a final inspection before traveling to her new home.

Raven is house trained. She enjoys simple pleasures like chewing on an antler or playing with a toy.
