Grenadine

Meet Grenadine, a special girl with a big heart who's looking for her forever couch! While she may be a little anxious and nervous when meeting new people, Grenadine is incredibly affectionate and loyal once she gets to know you. She is looking for someone who will be patient with her and give her the time she needs to warm up and show her true colors. Once she does, she'll be your shadow, offering gentle love and endless devotion. We don't know anything about Grenadine's past, but she was surrendered to a rural shelter with a litter of puppies in early January. She has some trust issues and it takes her some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she is a world champion cuddler and gives the best good morning hugs. She doesn't need a lot of space or a ton of exercise, and she is housebroken and crate trained.

Ideal Home

Grenadine needs a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to warm up. She prefers walks at a park or going hiking rather than in residential areas, as she feels bicycles and speeding vehicles are her mortal enemies. She is dog selective, preferring male dogs over females, and while kids are not her favorite, older ones would be okay.

Ongoing Health

Grenadine is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has had parasite prevention.

Training & Support

Grenadine is working on building tolerance for other dogs playing with toys, which is a work in progress. She is a great communicator and offers appropriate corrections with other dogs. She does fine with cats and will protect your home from squirrels.

Grenadine is being fostered near Columbus, OH. She rides great in the car for adventures and can be transported.
