Louise is a handsome 3-year-old, 60lb flat-coat retriever mix who made the long journey from Texas as a puppy. His current owner is being stationed overseas and sadly needs to rehome his best friend, having nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Louise is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, shake, lay down, stay, and fetch. He has lived harmoniously with cats for over a year and is currently friends with a Shitzu, making him a dog and cat-friendly companion. He loves playing with other dogs but would benefit from further socialization to refine his play etiquette, as he's just incredibly enthusiastic about life and ready for fun! Louise has the typical sweet, happy-go-lucky demeanor of a lab and loves everyone he meets. His youthful energy makes him an ideal active companion, ready for any adventure, especially hiking in the woods. With consistency and a little training, Louise will undoubtedly be someone's perfect dog, a fantastic adventure buddy, or a loving family member.
